FAQ - How do I make a New Screen Preference?

1. To make a permanent screen preference, go into the Preferences dialog. It's the third button from the right on the toolbar. It looks like a dark blue gear with a yellow cross in it.

2. Type a new preference name in the drop down combo box at the top of the Preference form, and press the "New" button beside it. The name you give your preference must be unique. It cannot be the same as an existing preference.

3. You should then get a small dialog box asking what preference to base your new preference on. Make a selection, and press the "OK" button.

4. It will then ask you if you would like to make this your default preference. Click on the "Yes" button.

5. That should take you back to the Preferences dialog. Press the "OK" button, and that should close the Preferences form.

6. Then you can resize the panels the way you want them. You could also display the WorkPad, and move and/or size it as you like. Then go back into the Preferences dialog, make sure you have your new preference selected (you might want to click on it just to make sure), and press the "Save" button. Press the "OK" button to close the Preferences form, and you should now have a new preference profile with all of your settings saved.
