Information about our customers is an important part of our business, and we are not in the business of selling it to others. We NEVER share customer information with public or private entities, with the SOLE exception of our sister monastery, Dormition Skete (Buena Vista, Colorado).
How Secure Is Information About Me?
We are in the process of working to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. We do not have SSL working yet on our normal Credit Card Processing Option. However, this is working on the PayPal Option.
We do not reveal any credit card numbers when confirming an order by email. Of course, we transmit the credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
