Welcome to the Web Store of Holy Apostles Convent, located in the mountains outside of beautiful Buena Vista, Colorado. We are an Orthodox Christian monastery, living according to the traditions handed down to us by the holy fathers and mothers of the Orthodox Church. Our monastery is entirely self-supporting. We do not solicit contributions for our continuing existence. Holy Apostles Convent translates the Holy Scriptures and the Lives of the Saints from the original Greek texts, and publishes them in extraordinarily high quality books. All of our publications are lavishly adorned with icons throughout the text for the reader's edification and enjoyment. Dormition Skete, located just up the hill from us, offers some of the finest icons available in the world. They offer hand-painted panel icons and frescoes, as well as mounted icons. Further, we also produce some of the highest quality incense available, along with many other products relating to the Orthodox Faith. Please take the time to visit their website, too, at http://www.DormitionSkete.org. Please take some time to explore our website, and we hope you will order some of the fruits of our labors.
